וּמִן־בְּנֵ֧י בִנְיָמִ֛ן אֲחֵ֥י שָׁא֖וּל שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֑ים וְעַד־הֵ֙נָּה֙ מַרְבִּיתָ֔ם שֹׁמְרִ֕ים מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת בֵּ֥ית שָׁאֽוּל׃ (ס)
A z synów Beniamina, braci Saulowych, trzy tysiące; bo jak dotąd większość z nich zachowywała lojalność wobec domu Saula.
Rashi on I Chronicles
And of the sons of Benjamin, Saul’s brethren, etc. Do not wonder that only three thousand came to him, because “heretofore their majority kept the watch of the house of Saul,” to help them.
